 Wednesday 30th March 2011
This week has been a more difficult week with the fishing and has proved a little disappointing for the Big Fish although the Lady Angler had some fun bringing her Ray to the Boat as did Roger Pettersen from Norway. The other days saw no Big Fish but Bream, Morena Eels as the main catches.

TUNA , TUNA
 Sunday 20th March 2011
Last 2 days spent chasing the Bluefin and Big Eye Tuna. With so much mackeral bait and shoal after shaol of inch bait in the waters its virtually a lottery as to Hook ups although we had a take on the short rigger. Blue Fins of a good 200 kilos+ and Big Eye around the 80/100kilos are swimming with the Dolphins and eat when the bait is balled upby them. Even the Professionals/commercials are struggling to catch. Friday we lost count of how many Tuna were crashing out over the bait. Believe us when we say seeing this spectacular sight was enjoyed by all the clients. Lets hope the bait shoals dwindle and then the Tuna will be easier to catch.

Big Eye Tuna have now been reported as showing in Las Palmas so chances they could move down to southern waters Unless the Big Tuna Boats in the area put a stop to them moving south.
